The Physicians at Gateway Foot & Ankle are trained specifically and extensively in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, diabetic complications, and sports medicine. This training encompasses all of the intricately related systems and structures of the foot including bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and nerves.

Dr. Valerie Winter
Dr. Winter is a native of Pittsburgh and a graduate of St. Vincent College. She attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Winter has completed a three year podiatric surgical residency program at Crozer-Keystone Health System, located with in the suburban Philadelphia area.
Dr. Winter is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Derrico Quattrone
Dr. Quattrone is a graduate of Washington & Jefferson College. He attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where he received his doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. He completed a two year surgical residency and was chief resident at William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton, New Jersey.
Dr. Quattrone is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Juliette Coppa
Dr. Juliette Coppa is a Pittsburgh native who grew up in the Mon Valley area. She received her undergraduate degree from Washington & Jefferson College. She completed her post graduate education at New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she received her doctorate. She then completed a three-year surgical residency at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Coppa is well-versed in all facets of Podiatric Surgery with special interest in sports medicine and pediatric deformities. Her training included a rotation at the International Center for Limb Lengthening in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Coppa is board-qualified in both forefoot and rearfoot surgery.
Dr. Brian Tuminski
Dr. Tuminski is from northeastern Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate degree from West Chester University. He completed his doctorate in podiatry at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to complete his three year residency in foot and ankle surgery at Inova Fairfax in northern Virginia. Dr. Tuminski has worked in private practice in both Maryland and Wisconsin previously before returning to practice in his home state. Dr. Tuminski is board-certified in foot surgery and board-qualified in rearfoot/ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has particular interest in reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot/ankle surgery including flat foot reconstruction, bunion correction, fusion of arthritic joints, tendon transfers, ankle arthroscopy, and diabetic limb salvage. His hobbies include skiing, music, watching football, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
